There were many Squadrons that flew from Harrowbeer. Some were based at the airfield for long periods whereas other Squadrons came to take part in specific operations and stayed for only very short periods. Examples of those based at the airfield include No.302 (Polish); No.312 (Czech); No.193; No.263 and No.266. The longest serving Squadron at Harrowbeer was No.276 (Air Sea Rescue) Squadron. Their headquarters were at Harrowbeer, but they were divided into four Flights which served at Harrowbeer, Warmwell, Portreath and Pembury airfields.
